Derby County is delighted to confirm that club partner Utilita Energy will be the Rams’ back of shirt and shorts sponsor for the Sky Bet Championship’s Play-Offs.

Utilita’s distinctive logo will appear on the back of Derby’s shirts and shorts for the upcoming Semi-Final clashes against Leeds United as they bid to reach the Play-Off Final at Wembley Stadium later this month.

Derby will take on Leeds at Pride Park Stadium on Saturday 11th May (5:15pm kick-off) in the Semi-Final First Leg, before heading to Elland Road for the Second Leg on Wednesday 15th May (7:45pm kick-off).

Utilita is one of Britain’s fastest growing independent energy suppliers and already enjoy a positive working relationship with the Rams, having been a preferred partner since the beginning of the 2016/17 campaign.

They were also Derby’s back of shirt and shorts sponsor throughout the 2017/18 season and, in addition to having their brand appear on the roof of the dug-outs at Pride Park, they advertise their brand on the Rams’ digital assets.

Ashley Peden, Derby County’s Head of Partnerships, said: “We’re delighted that Utilita have extended their relationship with the club to take up the option to sponsor the first-team’s back of shirts and shorts for this season’s Play-Offs.

“We’ve enjoyed working with Utilita over the last three years and look forward to seeing their logo appearing prominently during our Play-Off campaign under Frank Lampard.”

Jem Maidment, Utilita’s Director of Marketing & Communications, said: “It’s been a terrific season so far for the Rams and we are honoured to have our logo on their back of their jersey and shorts for the games against another great club in Leeds United.”

Formed in 2003, Utilita has established itself as the first main challenger to the ‘Big 6’ in the smart Pay-As-You-Go domestic market. They have worked tirelessly to give Britain’s hard-pressed families a fairer, more transparent, energy deal.

Utilita is now one of the Britain’s fastest growing independent energy suppliers and has nearly 750,000 customers – up from just 200,000 in June 2015.

It is an established Which? Top 10 supplier for customer satisfaction and its innovative app – where customers can see their energy usage in real time, as well as top up anywhere, anytime – currently holds the uSwitch Best App Award.

Utilita’s smart meters can be topped up online, on its app or at any PayPoint outlet in the country.
