Derby County Under-18s have been crowned Champions of the Under-18s Premier League – North.

The young Rams have had a stunning season that saw them not drop a single point in the league from October until April, winning 10 games in a row.

A crucial 3-1 victory over Liverpool in March lifted Justin Walker’s side ahead of the Reds and Derby occupied the top spot for the rest of the season which they finished with 16 wins, three draws and three defeats.

The Rams have had to wait for confirmation of their title despite ending their season cruising past Wolverhampton Wanderers in a 6-0 victory with Liverpool having two games in hand but needing to win both games, each by considerable margins.

Morgan Whittaker finished the top scorer for the young Rams, scoring 22 goals while adding 14 assists in his 27 appearances.

Derby will now challenge Arsenal, the winners of the South Division, in the National Final at Pride Park Stadium to lift the Under-18 Premier League title on Tuesday 7th May, kick-off: 7pm.
