It’s time to show that Derby County is in your DNA for the 2019/20 season.

Derby County’s new Umbro home kit has today been revealed for the first time - and it’s on sale NOW at the DCFCMegastore at Pride Park Stadium and online at dcfcmegastore.com.

The 2019/10 home kit was unveiled alongside the instalment of a fly-poster wall along the fencing between the exterior of the Morley Hayes South Stand and the South Car Park, as well as a new mural on the facia wall of the South Stand.

The front of the Rams’ kits for next season will once again be adorned with the logo of 32Red, who will enter the second season of their agreement as Derby’s principal shirt sponsor.

Inspired by the kit worn during the 1995/96 promotion season under Jim Smith, the 2019/20 home shirt pays homage to a memorable campaign by reinventing a new intricate graphic that also showcases the iconic stanchions that adorn the skyline of Pride Park.

The unique design feature is placed on the sleeve to offer a different focal point of the home shirt, which also features the wording “EST 1884” in the club’s personal Baseball Ground typeface wording on the back of the neck.

The 2019/20 home kit launch features the likes of Richard Keogh, Jayden Bogle, Mason Bennett, Martyn Waghorn, Jack Marriott, George Evans and Max Bird from the first-team squad, alongside Derby County Ladies’ players Hannah Ward, Cara Newton, Leah Kellogg and Jenny Simms.

Discussing the new home kit, defender Richard Keogh said: “I really enjoyed being part of filming the video for the new home kit and I am sure it will be popular with our supporters.

“The nod to 1990’s music within the video itself is right up my street and it’s fantastic to recognise the club’s history within the kit too. I love it and I can’t wait to wear it next season.”

Derby County’s Chief Executive Officer, Stephen Pearce, said: “We’re proud to launch Derby County’s new home kit for the 2019/20 season.

“I think Umbro have got the ideal balance of a modern and exciting home kit alongside integrating an element of the club’s history.”

Jonathan McCourt, Umbro’s UK Marketing Manager, said: “We’re really excited about Derby County’s new home kit. With its 1990’s graphical feel, and referencing the 1995/96 season shirt which the fans will know so well, we hope that the new strip will be one the supporters can identify with given its roots whilst also creating new and lasting memories on and off the pitch,”

Neil Banbury, 32Red General Manager - UK, said: "We are extremely proud to once again see the 32Red logo on the famous black and white of Derby County and feel both the club and Umbro have done fantastically to capture the club's prestigious history in this season's kit.

“We look forward to supporting the club during the 2019/20 season and creating more memorable moments along the way."

Derby County are committed to responsible gambling and therefore 32Red branding does not appear on junior kits.

All junior kits will be branded with the logo of club partner Utilita Energy, who will be the official shirt partner for Derby’s Under-23 side, junior shirts and club mascots Rammie & Ewie for the 2019/20 season.

Utilita is one of Britain’s fastest growing independent energy suppliers and already enjoy a positive working relationship with the Rams, having been a preferred partner since the beginning of the 2016/17 campaign.

Utilita’s logo was also featured on the back of Derby’s shirts and shorts during the Sky Bet Championship play-off campaign for the Semi-Final clash with Leeds United and Final against Aston Villa.

Utilita’s Director of Marketing and Communications, Jem Maidment, said: “Our association with Derby County continues to grow and we are absolutely thrilled that Utilita will appear on the shirts of all young Rams fans, as well as the Under-23 side.

“We are now an established brand in British football and much of that is down to the great relationship we have developed with Derby County.”
