Derby County's Krystian Bielik has received his first senior international call up for Poland for their upcoming Euro 2020 qualifiers against Slovenia and Austria.

Bielik has represented his country at several youth levels, ranging from Under-16s to Under-21s, and has been handed his first senior call up by Polish boss Jerzy Brzęczek.

Bielik was part of Poland’s Under-21 squad for this summer’s European Championships which were held in Italy. Bielik scored twice in the competition and despite registering two wins from three games, they bowed out of the tournament at the Group Stage.

The 21-year-old could be in line to make his debut as Poland travel to Ljubljana to face Slovenia on Friday 6th September (7:45pm kick off).

Poland are back on home soil three days later as they host Austria at Warsaw’s Stadion Narodowy on Monday 9th September (7:45pm kick off).

Poland currently top Group G with four wins out of four as they bid to qualify for Euro 2020 next summer.
