Derby County Under-19s are set to face Icelandic side IA Akranes in the UEFA Youth League and the fixtures have been confirmed.


The reigning National Champions will travel to Iceland for the first-leg on Wednesday 6th November at the Vikingsvollur Stadium in Reykjavik, kick off: 7pm (local time).

Justin Walker’s side will return home looking to secure their place into the next round under the lights at Pride Park Stadium on Wednesday 27th November, kick off 7pm.

It is promising to be an exciting clash between the two sides after both were convincing winners in the opening round, with goals aplenty.

The Rams moved on the second round of the UEFA Youth League after a 9-2 aggregate victory over Belarusian side FC Minsk.

IA beat Estonian team Levadia 16-1 over two legs to set up the meeting with Derby.
