Derby County will return to Sky Bet Championship action on Saturday after a three-month wait, and Rams supporters can enjoy a FREE pizza to coincide with the return of competitive football.
The COVID-19 pandemic saw the season halted back in March and the EFL has given the green light for Championship action to resume, albeit behind closed doors.
Derby’s first game back in action will see them head to Millwall on Saturday 20th June (1pm kick-off), and supporters are encouraged to watch the action from the comfort of their own homes.
The game will be available to watch LIVE in the UK and around the world on RamsTV, and the club urges supporters to Register Now and Test Login Credentials via dcfc.co.uk or through the Official Derby County App, full details can be found here: dcfc.co.uk/page/ramstv.
And what better way to enjoy Derby’s return to action in the comfort of your own home than with a FREE pizza, after one of the club’s suppliers provided 1,884 pizzas to give away to supporters.
To collect your FREE pizza, please note the following information:
- Pizzas will be available on a first come, first served basis from The Yard at Pride Park Stadium on Friday 19th June, between 10am-4pm (or whilst stocks last)
- Supporters must enter via the Toyota West Stand car park and drive to The Yard, located on the South West corner, where a member of staff will deliver two pre-packaged frozen pizzas to their vehicle
- Supporters must not leave their vehicles at any point
Derby County’s Chief Executive Officer, Stephen Pearce, said: “We’re all looking forward to the resumption of the season this weekend and our supporters can benefit from the generosity of one of our suppliers with the free pizza offering.
“It’s going to be very different for us all watching games from home and stadiums playing matches behind closed doors, but we understand why this is happening for the bigger picture because the COVID-19 outbreak has had, and is still having, serious implications on so many people’s lives.
“With that in mind, we want to reiterate to our supporters the importance of not travelling to and congregating outside stadiums or attending social gatherings to watch matches. Please stay at home, enjoy the free pizza and watch the team in action on RamsTV.”
