Derby County goalkeeper David Marshall has been called up for the Scotland squad for their upcoming international matches.


The 35-year-old, who joined the Rams on a two-year contract last week from Wigan Athletic, has been drafted into Steve Clarke’s squad for the first two UEFA Nations League fixtures which take place early next month.

Scotland host Isreal on Friday 4th September at Hampden Park whilst three days later, they travel to the Andrův Stadium to face Czech Republic on Monday 7th September.

As a result, Marshall will miss Derby's Carabao Cup First Round tie at home to Barrow AFC on Saturday 5th September.

Marshall has 33 caps to his name for Scotland since making his debut against Hungary in 2004.
