Derby County Community Trust are looking for a budding artist to design their official Christmas card this year!

As part of the club’s ‘Stay Safe. Stay Fit. Stay Connected.’ initiative, the Community Trust are accepting entries from 4-12 year olds who want to help spread some festive cheer.

Entrants should design the front of a Christmas card and the winning entry will be printed and distributed to over 1,000 people over the festive period.

It will accompany the Community Trust’s Tackling Loneliness Christmas care packages, meal deliveries and food parcels and their Community Christmas Cracker boxes.

There is no set theme, other than keeping it Christmassy, but we have created a Christmas pack with some templates you might like to use here!

Please Note: The Christmas Card will be a 2D printed image, so where possible try not to use any 3D effects as they may not look the same once printed. It is advised to design your ideas on a plain, white background.

All entries should be scanned where possible, but the Community Trust will accept images taken on a smartphone too, and sent to [email protected] with the artist’s name, age and school. If you do not want this information to be shared publicly please add a note on your email.

Please send any entries to by 5pm on Wednesday 2nd December.

The Community Trust will get in touch with our favourite designer and show them their finished card on Friday 4th December.

We can’t wait to see your designs and award our winner with some special Derby County goodies this Christmas!
