Jayden Mitchell-Lawson is to officially return to Derby County from his season-long loan deal at Bristol Rovers in the January Transfer Window.

The winger linked up with the Sky Bet League 1 side for the entire 2020/21 campaign back in August, following an impressive spell with the Pirates towards the end of the 2019/20 season.

Mitchell-Lawson’s first team appearances for Rovers, however, have been limited to seven in the current season, the last of which came at the start of November.

The 21-year-old is already back with Derby after it was mutually agreed that he would return to the Rams and he was on the bench for the Under-23s’ Premier League 2 – Division 1 fixture against Brighton & Hove Albion on Monday, as he is eligible to play in non-first team matches.
