The EFL and Sky Sports have confirmed broadcast selections for the opening stages of the 2026/27 season.

All broadcast selections for the period up to the weekend of 3rd October 2026 have been finalised and communicated to clubs.
As confirmed last week, all opening weekend matches in the Championship, League One and League Two are once again set to be broadcast live on Sky Sports, along with all Carabao Cup fixtures.
On top of this, TWO of Derby County’s Sky Bet Championship fixtures have been amended, with kick-off times brought forward to 12.30pm.

Sky Sports Football
The Carabao Cup will kick off the 2026/27 season, with four ties selected for broadcast on Sky Sports Football in Round One, including Middlesbrough vs Wrexham (Friday 7th August), and Plymouth Argyle vs Exeter City (Monday 10th August).
All remaining Round One ties - including Derby’s clash with Lincoln City at Pride Park Stadium - will be available for broadcast on Sky Sports+, with fixture dates and kick-off times to follow.
By 31st July 2026, all TV selections will be confirmed for the period up to the FA Cup Third Round on the weekend of 9th January 2027.
