Derby County's Under-18s will face Cardiff City under the floodlights at Pride Park Stadium on Friday 4th December in their FA Youth Cup Third Round clash (7pm kick-off).
It is the first chance for the youngsters to play on the Pride Park pitch this season as they enter this year’s competition at the Third Round hurdle.
The young Rams knocked out Everton in this stage last season courtesy of defender Eiran Cashin’s goal in the 1-0 home victory. However, in the next round Derby bowed out after a 2-1 defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion.
Derby play their football in the Under-18s Premier League – North, while the Bluebirds are in Division Two - South.
