Evans Departs To Link Up With Millwall

Derby County’s George Evans has joined Sky Bet Championship outfit Millwall on a permanent basis.

The 26-year-old has moved to The Den to link up with former Derby boss Gary Rowett after the two clubs agreed an undisclosed fee for his services.

Evans joined the Rams from Reading in the summer of 2018 and made 42 appearances across the last two-and-a-half seasons.

Capable of playing in defence or midfield, he recorded eight appearances during the current campaign in all competitions.

Derby County would like to wish George well in his future career and thank him for his efforts throughout his time at the club.
