The DCFCMegastore has an exciting new range of Derby County merchandise in stock - thanks to former Rams defender Shaun Barker.
Barker, who is 38 and racked up just over 100 appearances for the club after signing from Blackpool in 2009, has recently relaunched his fashion brand ‘With The Gods’.
The DCFCMegastore is stocking the new-look range of Derby-themed products after they proved to be popular with supporters when they first went on sale in 2012.
The new range includes t-shirts, hoodies and sweatshirts and take inspiration from football, music and popular culture to create iconic football wear that is suitable for the stands, the pub or currently watching from home.
A keen focus of ‘With The Gods’ is to make football clothing suitable for more than just a matchday and tap into club legends and iconic moments for the design of some products.
Discussing the ‘With The Gods’ brand, Barker said: “We felt there was a gap in the market for having a fashion brand but aimed at football clubs and fans. You often see some bad merchandise and football shirts, but you do not really have much choice if you don’t want to wear the shirt.
“The idea here is you don’t have to sacrifice how you look and feel and the pride you want to don in your outfit and still worship your club.
“We wanted the name to resonate with fans. You look at sayings that are involved in football and, having played football, it had a more internal vibe as well — the connection with the fans and the players. Football is like religion. You talk about it being a religion. And branding needs emotion and a connection to you, but also people that are going to buy into the brand.”
