Derby County’s Under-18s were held to a 1-1 draw at Burnley in the Under-18 Premier League - North on Saturday.

Adam Robinson’s side took the lead just after the hour mark through Malcolm Ebiowei, who arrived from Scottish side Rangers in September, after being set up by substitute Riley Moloney.

Burnley hit back to equalise, however, with 15 minutes remaining through Kian Le Fondre to earn a share of the spoils.

Although the Rams weren’t able to pick up all three points, they were able to address a run of two successive defeats in the league and now sit 12th in the league table after seven matches.

The Under-18s will host Manchester United in their latest league fixture at Moor Farm Training Ground on Saturday 30th October (12pm kick-off).
