Derby County's Lee Buchanan has been called up to England’s Under-21 squad for their upcoming international fixtures.

The Rams’ defender is no stranger to the Under-21s set up having already made two appearances, which both came in November 2020.

He has been selected by former Rams midfielder Lee Carsley, who oversees the Under-21s alongside another former Derby defender Ashley Cole, for their upcoming European Under-21 Championship Qualifying fixtures.

The Three Lions host Andorra on Friday 25th March (7:45pm kick-off) at AFC Bournemouth’s Vitality Stadium, whilst four days later, they travel to the Elbasan Arena to face Albania on Tuesday 29th March (7:45pm kick-off).

Buchanan has made 26 appearances for Derby so far this season and can operate at both left back, left wing back and centre back.
