The Season So Far...

Derby's Under-23s have played 20 games so far this term in Premier League 2 - Division 1 and have registered four wins, three draws and 13 defeats.

Their last outing saw them claim a hard earned point against Leicester City at Moor Farm Training Ground last Sunday as the East Midlands clash ended in a 0-0 draw.

They are five points away from safety, after a strong run of form towards the end of 2021 to bring them into contention of getting out of the bottom two, but are yet to pick up a league win in 2022 to date.

Blackburn, meanwhile, are 12th in the Premier League 2 - Division 1 table and are directly outside the bottom two, so a win for the Rams would see them move to within two points of their opponents.

Derby were 6-0 winners when the sides met at Loughborough University Stadium back in November.

Striker Jack Stretton helped himself to a hat-trick in the game, while fellow frontman Luke Plange netted.

Defender Eiran Cashin also got his name on the scoresheet against ten-man Rovers, who had Harry Leonard sent off in the first half.
