Derby County midfielder Isaac Hutchinson has agreed to sign for Sky Bet League Two side Walsall on a one-year deal when his contract comes to an end later this month.

Hutchinson, 22, was a regular for the Rams’ Under-23s last term before spending the second half of the campaign on loan at League Two side Crawley Town, where he made 19 appearances and scored twice.

Hutchinson, who joined Derby from Southend United in October 2020 and linked up with Pat Lyons’ Under-23s, made three first-team appearances in the 2021/22 season, of which two came in the Carabao Cup.

Derby County wishes Isaac every success in his future endeavours.
