Derby County’s new home, away and third kits for the upcoming 2022/23 season, alongside the new-look goalkeeping kits, have been unveiled.
Designed and produced by long-standing club partner Umbro, the kits are being shown for the first time ahead of Saturday’s League One opener against Oxford United at Pride Park Stadium (3pm kick-off).
The front and back of the Rams’ shirts will begin the season
without club sponsorship logos while positive discussions continue with several
parties with a view to signing shirt sponsorship agreements.
The predominantly white home shirt is accompanied by black shorts and black socks, while the home goalkeeper’s kit is a deep teal combination of blue and green.
The black away shirt also displays green on the sleeves is paired up with black shorts and green socks, while the away goalkeeper’s kit is yellow.
The all-maroon third shirt, which is reminiscent of the popular change kit worn by Derby in the 1996/97 season under the late Jim Smith, is paired up with white shorts and maroon socks.

As previously communicated to supporters recently, although the 2022/23 season kit designs were approved some time ago the production process - other than a small and essential football staff order - was understandably stalled whilst the club was in administration.
Following the recent purchase of the club by Clowes Developments (UK) Ltd, the overseas production process is ongoing, and the replica kits are not expected to be delivered to the club’s retail partner Fanatics for sale until the Autumn.
The club will provide an update to supporters in due course once further information has been confirmed.
