Derby County would like to provide supporters with an update regarding the 2022/23 season kits.

The club communicated in early July that the kits would unfortunately not be available until the Autumn after production was only authorised once the club exited administration.

The club are pleased to confirm that the home, away, third and goalkeeper kits have now been delivered and will all be on sale from 8am on Thursday 6th October both online via dcfcmegastore.co.uk and the DCFCMegastore at Pride Park Stadium.

The DCFCMegastore will be open between 8am-8pm on Thursday 6th, Friday 7th and Saturday 8th October, the latter enabling supporters to buy the kits before, during and after the home fixture against Port Vale.

Derby will wear this season’s third kit for the first time in the Sky Bet League One fixture at Cambridge United on Saturday 1st October, for what will be new Head Coach Paul Warne's first game in charge of the side.

A few days later, on Tuesday 4th October, the away kit will make its debut in the Papa Johns Trophy clash at Mansfield Town.

The Rams will be in their traditional black and white colours for Warne's first home game on Saturday 8th October for the Sky Bet League One clash against Port Vale at Pride Park Stadium.

Discussions are ongoing as to what will be featured on the front of the shirts, albeit the club recently announced its preference for a nationally recognised charity whose endeavours also benefit the local and regional community but, because of the logistics involved in sublimating logos both post-production and post-sale, any logo will only be featured on players kits and not on the replica kits.

The temporary kits worn by Derby’s players during pre-season, featuring the One Club. One City. We Are Derby logo and subsequently signed by the first team squad, will be up for grabs during October via an online auction and prize draws including a Golden Ticket in each of the month’s matchday programmes.

Funds from the auction will be donated to the award-winning Derby County Community Trust.

The club would like to conclude by thanking supporters for their patience and understanding whilst awaiting news on this season’s kits and acknowledges the cooperation and professionalism of both Umbro and Fanatics throughout this process.
