Derby County Community Trust are hosting a series of coffee mornings throughout the week of 26th September 2022, culminating in a public event at Pride Park Stadium from 11am on Friday 30th September, the given day for this year’s biggest coffee morning.

Macmillan's Coffee Morning is their biggest fundraising event to support people living with cancer, including those taking part in the Community Trust’s Active Recovery and Wellbeing For All projects, which are supported and funded through Macmillan Cancer Support.

The Community Trust are encouraging Derby County fans to attend the coffee morning, from 11am-1:30pm on Friday 30th September in the Captain’s Club at Pride Park Stadium to find out more about their cancer projects, which support patients in any stage of their diagnosis, alongside their families.

Active Recovery has been running for the past five years, helping anyone within five years of a cancer diagnosis to introduce tailored activity into their lifestyle to aid their recovery.

Wellbeing For All is a secondary awareness project which was established to address need within diverse ethnic and lower socio-economic communities, where screening rates and knowledge of signs and symptoms are often lower.

A donation to Macmillan Cancer Support will be requested on the day.
