Derby County played out what was a frustrating 0-0 draw with Exeter City on Tuesday night in Sky Bet League One.

Derby's best chances fell to defender Haydon Roberts early on and midfielder Conor Hourihane in the second period as the Rams were unable to claim all three points in the first ever league meeting between the

Defender Craig Forsyth caught up with RamsTV following the game to discuss the performance and look ahead to the visit of Bristol Rovers on Saturday...

On the performance…

It was very disappointing. Being at home, we need to make more of these opportunities. I don’t think we created enough tonight to win the game and that’s our responsibility to put teams under pressure here. I don’t think we did that enough tonight.

On the half-time message…

More energy was the simple message. In the first-half we didn’t move it quick enough and we didn’t get around the pitch quick enough and that was the message at half-time; to get closer to people, move the ball quicker and I think the second half was slightly better but we didn’t test the goalkeeper enough to warrant winning the game.

It was simple, we needed to run around a bit more. We did it more in the second half and we saw a slight improvement but it wasn’t good enough.

On his position in a back three…

It’s a position I’ve played before. Obviously when James Chester went down there was a bit of a reshuffle and a change of shape at half-time and I think that’s probably one positive we can take - a clean sheet against a team that have scored a lot of goals this season.

On returning home on Saturday…

We need to take more of these opportunities at home. We need to pick up the home form and make sure when teams come here, we know they are going to raise their game but we need to match that and do more to win.
