Derby County return to Sky Bet League One action on Tuesday evening when they take on Oxford United under the floodlights at Pride Park Stadium (7:45pm kick-off).

The Rams go into the match off the back of their covincing 3-0 victory over Burton Albion at the weekend and will look to build on that result with a positive result over the U's on home turf.

In the lead-up to the game getting underway, dcfc.co.uk has brought together all the key information you need to know...

Rams Team News

Attacking midfielder Louie Sibley (calf) returned to training on Monday but Tuesday evening's game will come too soon for his return to the matchday squad after missing most of pre-season.

Forward Tom Barkhuizen (calf) is expected to return to training towards the end of this week after also missing the majority of pre-season.

Pre-Match Thoughts

First Team Coach Matt Hamshaw sat down with RamsTV to preview Tuesday evening's clash under the lights at Pride Park Stadium.

He said: "Oxford play good football and want to attack and get on the front foot so it will be another tough game but it's one we're really looking forward to.

"The lads have taken confidence from Saturday's win and we need to make sure we start winning at home because that will be key."

Striker Conor Washington scored his first goal as a Derby player in the win over Burton and he also sat down with RamsTV to preview the midweek fixture.

He said: "I think momentum kind of takes care of itself because the break in between games is so small it feels like you go game to game.

"The beauty of being at Derby and the luxury of facilities we have here, there's no excuse to not recover and do things right so that's what we'll be looking at trying to do over the next 24/48 hours."
