Derby County Under-21s forward George Nunn has joined local non-league side Mickleover FC on loan.
The 21-year-old, who joined the Rams last summer from Premier League side Chelsea, will spend the opening month of the season with the Southern League Premier Division Central side.
Nunn, who can play in a number of attacking roles, appeared ten times and scored once for the Under-21s in Premier League 2 last term, as well as playing in the Premier League Cup and Derbyshire Senior Cup.
He also had two separate loan spells at both Mickleover and National League South side Cheshunt to gain match experience.
John McGrath’s side will start their 2023/24 season at St Ives Town on Saturday and Nunn has been registered in time to potentially feature in the curtain-raiser.
