Young Derby County duo Darren Robinson and Charlie Lindsay have been named in the Northern Ireland Under-21 squad for the upcoming UEFA Under-21 European Qualifiers.

Robinson, who is 18, and 19-year-old Lindsay will be available for selection for their two fixtures against Luxembourg on Thursday 7th September and Ukraine on Tuesday 12th September.

The matches will take place at Mourneview Park in Lurgan (2pm kick-off) and Poprad in Slovakia (6:30pm kick-off) respectively.

Robinson, who spent all of pre-season with Paul Warne's first-team squad, has rapidly progressed through the international set-up with Northern Ireland and after making his debut with the Under-19s just last September, now goes up another level to the Under-21s.

Lindsay, who joined Derby's Under-21s this summer from Scottish side Rangers, also earns a first call-up to the Under-21s squad having previously represented the team at Under-16 level.
