Derby County Women have been handed an away tie at Northampton Town in the Second Round of the 2023/24 FA Women’s National League Plate.

The Second Round draw took place on Monday evening and provided Sam Griffiths’ side with a second successive away tie in the competition following Sunday’s 5-0 success at Doncaster Rovers Belles.

A brace from Marli Rhodes-Andrews and further strikes from Rebecca May, Maria Timms and Sarah Jackson saw Derby cruise past the First Round hurdle.

Northampton, who compete in the FA Women's National League Division One Midlands, were 5-0 winners in their First Round tie on home turf against Leek Town.

All National League Plate ties will take place on Sunday 29th October (2pm kick-off).
