Derby County midfielder Tyrese Fornah has been called up to represent Sierra Leone for the very first time.

Fornah, who joined the Rams back in August from Nottingham Forest, qualifies for Sierra Leone through his father who was born there.

The 23-year-old was eligible to play for the Leone Stars, Ghana and England but has settled on the former for his first-ever cap.

Fornah has been called up for two big World Cup Qualifiers for Sierra Leone against Ethiopia in Casablanca on 15th November and Egypt on 19th November in Monrovia.

If he makes his debut on the international stage, he could be playing alongside former Rams captain and defender Curtis Davies who recently made a debut of his own for the Leone Stars at the age of 38.
