Derby County Women will look to return to winning ways when they host Huddersfield Town at the Don Amott Arena on Sunday afternoon (2pm kick-off).

dcfc.co.uk has brought together all the key information you will need to know ahead of the FA Women's National League Northern Premier Division fixture.

Manager's Thoughts...

Manager Sam Griffiths is looking for more consistency from her side as they look to bounce back from last weekend’s disappointing 2-1 loss at West Bromwich Albion.

Griffiths expressed her frustration at the Ewes’ display, notably in the first half, and she is looking for a response against the Terriers.

Derby were victorious in their last outing on home turf, a 2-0 success against Stourbridge last month, and Griffiths is targeting back-to-back home wins to provide the side with a platform to kick on.

She said: “We’ll get on the training ground, come back together and try to put things right against Huddersfield.

“When we’re on it, we can be very good. I need to work hard, alongside the staff and with the players doing a bit of soul-searching, to try and make sure we’re on it more often.

“We need to address it and get some more consistency.”

The Last Time We Met...

Derby County Women claimed an emphatic 4-0 success at Huddersfield Town when the sides met earlier in the season.

Forward Eleanor Ashton opened the scoring midway through the first half in West Yorkshire, after being played in by Rebecca May, to set the Ewes on their way.

After going in a goal to the good at the break, Derby doubled their lead when Hannah Ward's cross found Amy Sims to score from close range shortly after half-time.

May thumped in Derby's third just before the hour after a corner wasn't cleared before Sims rounded off the scoring in added time with May once again the provider.
