Midfielder Ebou Adams admitted it
was a ‘massive relief’ to see Derby County grab all three points with a
last-minute victory over Stevenage to retain second spot in Sky Bet
League One.

Substitute Louie Sibley scored in the final minute of normal time to earn Paul Warne’s side a vital 1-0 win at Pride Park Stadium.
Adams, who joined Derby on loan from Championship side Cardiff City in January, has impressed in his opening four appearances in a Derby shirt in recent weeks.
Moments after the final whistle against Stevenage, Adams caught up with RamsTV to discuss the win and his time with Derby so far.
I think the result speaks for itself. I am going to enjoy my weekend after that, and I hope everyone else does as well! Getting a few knocks and bumps is all worth it to get the win for the team. Hopefully we can keep pushing forward.

I think we could have played better in the first half and moved the ball quicker, myself included. The gaffer spoke to us at half-time and we knew what we needed to do in the second half. We kept pushing and we knew we could get a chance to get the win. It was a great finish from Sibs, and it was a massive relief to see it go in!

We always back ourselves. We knew we’d get a chance to win it. We’ve got a great bunch of lads and excellent players as well. I felt we dominated the second half today and, for me, it was only a matter of time before we scored.

It is nice to hear! It makes me feel better. I can only thank for the fans for making me feel great; it makes me play the way I do. If I didn’t have the lads and the staff, I wouldn’t be playing like I am. I hope it can continue, because I am really enjoying it. Everyone has made me feel so welcome. From day one, I have felt like I am at home. Everyone at Derby County has allowed me to focus on my football. It makes me feel unbelievable. Consistency for me is important, if I can keep performing, I will be buzzing.
