Pre-Match Thoughts: 'It's About Finding A Way To Win' - Bradley

Derby County defender Sonny Bradley says it is just about 'finding a way to win' at this key stage of the season.

The Rams travel to Exeter City on Tuesday evening in their latest Sky Bet League One outing and are eager to get back to winning ways following Saturday's late 1-1 draw against Shrewsbury Town at Pride Park Stadium.

Speaking to RamsTV ahead of the long trip to St James Park, Bradley reflected on Saturday's draw and previewed Tuesday's clash with the Grecians.

On Saturday's result against Shrewsbury...

It stung, it still hurts a little bit. It's a little bit raw. It hurts more because it was such a sloppy goal to concede. Up until the goal, we'd defended really well. Maybe it was just a bit naivety from ourselves and it was a punch in the nose in the end. It's important now that we look at it, recognise why it happened and make sure that it won't happen again.

On the difference between that game and the win at Charlton...

It was just a moment where we switched off and had we done that against Charlton, we'd have probably been punished as well. It just shows that it doesn't matter who you play against in this division, if you do switch off then you'll concede goals and that's what happened on Saturday.

On his recent run in the team...

It's nice to get in the team. I've had 100% availability in training and in games this season, so my body feels good. Whenever the gaffer has asked me to play, I feel I have given 100% and done my best. It's nice to be on the pitch and making a contribution at the start of the games as opposed to coming on, and hopefully that continues.

On whether he sees the tools for promotion in the dressing room...

I see a group that care about the club and care about each other; that's the main thing. No disrespect to any of my previous clubs, but I've been at teams with less quality than this one but they've achieved success simply from being together as a group. We've got experienced players, real quality and players that between us have earned a lot of promotions in that dressing room. From a fans' point of view, you can see why they expect us to be up there and I completely agree. It's just about finding a way to win as many matches as we can and hopefully by the end of the season that's enough to get promoted.

On the double gameweek with Exeter and Stevenage coming up...

I know the old cliché is concentrate on yourselves, but we're at that time of the season now where we are looking around us to see what everyone else is doing. Having said that, if we win our games, we will give ourselves a great chance. We've got the likes of Portsmouth, Bolton, Barnsley and Stevenage to play and if we beat those teams along with getting positive results around them, it will be great.
