Head Coach Paul Warne admitted it felt like Derby County 'let one go' following their 0-0 draw with Wycombe Wanderers on Wednesday night.

The Rams weren't able to find the crucial breakthrough at Adams Park and the point means they sit two points above Bolton Wanderers in the Sky Bet League One table having played a game more.

Speaking to RamsTV after the final whistle, Warne reflected on his frustration at not picking up all three points but also highlighted the fact that this point could prove to be the crucial one in the long run.

On how he assesses the performance...

Frustrating, really. We had some really good chances in the first half that we didn't take. We wanted the lads to play with a bit more calmness but in the second half we didn't really create enough chances. We had corners and free-kicks but it just didn't fall for us and sometimes it's like that. We've got to try and bounce back on Saturday at home. A few of our lads weren't on song, that's probably the best way to put it. I'm disappointed that we only got a point, however, at the end of the season it could be a good point.

On whether he believes it could be an important point...

I'll be surprised if anyone in the top six wins their last four or five games in a row. The pressure is no different on us than it is on Bolton, Peterborough and the others. It might be a good point. I'm disappointed we didn't get all three and if we'd have taken our chances early on it may have been handsome. It's disappointing that we didn't take our chances but we've got to keep the group together and calm. We'll take the point and go again on Saturday and hopefully put on a performance that gives us an opportunity to win.

On getting the message across to the players to not be too down with the result...

Not many teams will win their last four and on paper this was maybe our trickiest fixture of the four left. This is a difficult place to come and I've never had a great deal of success here but it's now about refreshing the lads and showing them some of the bad decisions and going again on Saturday. It's no drama. The point tonight may be the point that gets us in there or it may not, but there's nothing we can do now. We just look forward to the next one.

On Joe Ward and the other absent players...

Joe's knee is still swollen and I think we missed him tonight. Whether he will be OK for the weekend, I honestly don't know yet because he is still sore and his knee is still swollen. Birdy is back on the grass and whether he will be available on Saturday, I don't know. Tom Barkhuizen is back a little bit early, maybe that's more of a risk then we'd usually take but it's that stage of the season now.

On Leyton Orient on Saturday...

We might only need to win one game, but all we can do is always set up to try and win and hope the lads are bang on the money. It's more disappointing that it's come out of our hands a little bit tonight and that's crucial. It feels like we've let one go tonight.
