TEAM NEWS: Sunderland Vs Derby County

Derby County’s starting line-up for tonight’s Sky Bet Championship clash with Sunderland has been confirmed (7:45pm kick-off).

The Rams see four changes from Saturday’s defeat to Norwich City at Pride Park Stadium as Paul Warne looks to shuffle the pack away from home against a Black Cats side sitting second in the division.

After falling to defeat on home turf for the first time this season against the Canaries, Derby are looking for their first points away from home this term, in what will be a tough test against a high-flying Sunderland side.

Tawanda Chirewa will make his first league appearance for Derby, after previously featuring in the Carabao Cup Second Round before suffering a concussion injury during the last international break.

On-loan defender Nat Phillips starts for the first time since linking up with the squad from parent club Liverpool on deadline day. Fellow final-day signing Marcus Harness also make his first starting berth for the Rams.

Kane Wilson will return to the starting fold for the first time since suffering a groin injury in Derby’s 1-0 victory over Middlesbrough.
