Derby County have completed the loan signing of Everton and England youth international midfielder Harrison Armstrong.
The highly-rated 18-year-old arrives at Pride Park Stadium from the Premier League club until the end of the 2024/25 season.
Armstrong – who has featured in all three senior domestic competitions for the Toffees this term – becomes the Rams’ fourth addition of the mid-season transfer window.
He made headlines last month when he starred in Everton’s 2-0 FA Cup Third Round win over Peterborough United, when he set up the opener and received the Player of the Match award.

Born in the West Derby area of Liverpool, Armstrong joined Everton’s academy as a five-year-old and progressed to become a member of the Under-18s squad during the 2022/23 season.
He had only just turned 16 when he came off the bench to make his first Under-18 Premier League appearance against Derby at Moor Farm in January 2023.
The midfielder became a regular from the start of the next campaign and his displays meant that from January onwards he was a mainstay of the Toffees’ Premier League 2 side.
Armstrong marked his first start at Under-21 level with a goal and following his rapid progression, he earned his first professional contract in July 2024.
He featured for the first team in pre-season friendlies against Salford City, Preston North End and AS Roma before being named as a substitute for their Premier League opener against Brighton & Hove Albion.
A first senior league appearance followed when he came off the bench against Tottenham Hotspur a week later in the top-flight.
The teenager went on to feature in the Carabao Cup against Doncaster Rovers and Southampton before capturing attention in the New Year with a stand-out performance in the Third Round of the FA Cup against Peterborough.
Armstrong created the opener for Beto with a pin-point pass and he named as Player of the Match following the full-time whistle.
Internationally, he has made four appearances for England at Under-18 level.
