Derby County will travel to face Burton Albion in July as part of preparations for their 2025/26 Sky Bet Championship campaign.
The Rams will head to the Pirelli Stadium for a pre-season fixture on Saturday 26th July 2025 (3pm kick-off).
James Collins, Conor Hourihane and Conor Washington were on target when Derby last made the short trip down the A38 - for a 3-0 win during the opening weeks of the promotion-winning 2023/24 Sky Bet League One season.
The Brewers will be preparing to attack the third tier once again, after they miraculously escaped relegation last term under the guidance of former Derby Academy coaches Gary Bowyer and Pat Lyons.
The game will also serve as the final of the Bass Charity Vase for 2025, with penalty kicks to be taken if the friendly ends in a draw after 90 minutes.
The Bass Charity Vase was founded in 1889 in Burton upon Trent to raise funds for medical and hospital charities, and Derby have won the trophy on 20 previous occasions, the last coming in 2019.
Ticket details will be confirmed and communicated to supporters in due course.
Information regarding further pre-season fixtures - including one during Derby’s training camp in Austria - will be communicated as soon as they are confirmed and the club is able to do so.
