Derby County Academy goalkeeper Harry Evans has signed a one-year contract ahead of the 2025/26 season.
The 20-year-old shot-stopper made ten appearances for the Rams’ Under-21s in Premier League 2 last season and was recognised for his work as he received a nomination for the league’s Player of the Month award in January 2025.
Having started his career with Derby at the age of eight, Evans has risen through the ranks of the Academy and established himself with the Under-21s, captaining the side on multiple occasions in all competitions last season.
The goalkeeper has also been out on loan in previous seasons, with stints at Coalville Town in 2022/23 and Barwell in 2023/24 giving him his first experience of senior football.
In addition, Evans spent time around the first team training
group in the 2024/25 season, alongside Jacob Widell Zetterström and Josh Vickers,
including on matchdays.
