David Ozoh says he has 'unfinished business' at Derby County.

The 20-year-old revealed his delight at sealing a return to the Rams after re-joining on a season-long loan from Crystal Palace.
The move marks a return to Derby for the midfielder, after spending last season on loan from the Eagles at Pride Park Stadium.
Ozoh impressed in Derbyshire but had his playing time cut short due to injury, and after impressing Head Coach John Eustace over his time among the squad in the latter stages of the 2024/25 season, Ozoh has returned to the Rams.
He spoke to RamsTV after completing the loan switch back to Derby.
I am just excited to be back. I felt like I had unfinished business, so I'm happy to be back.
I wanted to play games again this season, it was a decision I made last season because I didn't play as many games as I'd have liked. I had a couple of conversations with the gaffer at the end of last season, and I just really wanted to come back and finish what I started last year.
It had to be here. There was nowhere else that I wanted to go!

I enjoyed everything and settled in very quickly. The fans welcomed me very well, and the players, as well, the staff. They've all been amazing to me, so it was a no-brainer to come back.

I feel like I have a lot to show. Last season was frustrating with injuries, and I want to remove that injury tag that I have on my name. I'm just excited to be here and to play games.
I feel good. I've played a couple of matches in pre-season at Palace. I've trained more than I did towards the end of last season, so I feel at a good place. I feel mentally good, so I'm just ready to go.

From the first day he came in, he made me feel like I was a key player for the team, and that's important for me, being somewhere where I'm wanted. He made it known to me.
We had a lot of conversations towards the end of last season, telling me what he wants me to do. I think it's important to have a relationship with a manager.
