Derby County Academy trio Freddie Turley, Daniel Cox and Darren Robinson have been called up to represent their nations in the upcoming international window.
Cox, who is enjoying a loan spell with Sky Bet League Two side Walsall for the 2025/26 season, will link up with the Wales Under-21s squad.
Turley, a mainstay in the Rams Under-21s side who also featured amongst the Rams' senior squad during pre-season training this summer, will join up with the Republic of Ireland Under-21s.
Robinson, who is out on loan with Northern Irish top-flight side St. Patrick’s Athletic, will be on duty with the Northern Ireland Under-21s squad.
Turley made 21 appearances for Derby Under-21s across Premier League 2 and the Premier League Cup competitions in 2024/25 - his first season on the books with the Rams.
The versatile defensive midfielder, who can also play at full-back, on the wing and in defence, has previously been called up to represent his nation at Under-17, Under-18 and Under-19 levels and will join up with the Under-21s side for the first time.
The Irish Under-21s will play against Moldova at the Nisperoni Central Stadium in Moldova (Thursday 4th September, 5pm kick-off) and Andorra at the Tallaght Stadium in Dublin (Tuesday 9th September, 7:30pm kick-off) in 2027 UEFA Under-21 European Championships qualification matches.
Defender Cox has received his first call-up to the Cymru Under-21 squad.
The young defender has made three appearances in all competitions for the Saddlers so far this season and has previously represented his nation through the age groups.
He frequently captained the Wales Under-19s side over the last two campaigns.
He will join up with the Welsh Under-21s for their 2027 UEFA Under-21 European Championships qualification match against Denmark at Rodney Parade in Newport (Monday 8th September, 7:30pm kick-off).
Robinson has made four appearances in all competitions for St. Patrick’s Athletic since moving on loan earlier this month - including one appearance against Turkish Süper Lig side Besiktas in the UEFA Conference League Qualifiers.
The midfielder will join up with the Northern Ireland Under-21s for their UEFA Under-21 European Championships qualification match against Georgia on Tuesday 9th September at the Ramaz Shengelia Stadium in Georgia (5pm kick-off).
