Derby County have completed the signing of Dion Sanderson from Birmingham City on a season-long loan.
The 25-year-old defender will spend the duration of the 2025/26 campaign at Pride Park Stadium.
Sanderson becomes Derby’s tenth summer signing and fourth on loan, as John Eustace continues to strengthen his defensive options ahead of the Sky Bet Championship season.
The move reunites Sanderson with the Rams’ Head Coach once again, having played under Eustace at Birmingham City and Blackburn Rovers previously and also when he was on the coaching staff at Queens Park Rangers.

Eustace named the versatile defender as his captain at Birmingham, while Sanderson has also represented Wolverhampton Wanderers, Cardiff City, Sunderland and Queens Park Rangers at senior level, racking up over 150 appearances in all competitions.
Welcome to Derby, Dion!
