Rhian Brewster is Derby County’s eighth signing of the summer.

The 25-year-old joins as a free agent to bolster Head Coach John Eustace’s attacking options, becoming the fourth attacking signing of the summer - with Carlton Morris, Andi Weimann and Patrick Agyemang also in the Rams’ ranks in recent weeks.
East London-born Brewster started out with Chelsea’s Academy from a young age and remained with the Londoners until the age of 14.
He signed for Liverpool in 2015 and quickly rose through the youth ranks on Merseyside.

He began playing for the Reds’ Under-18s side in the 2016/17 season, where he made 11 appearances in the Under-18 Premier League and featured eight times in Premier League 2 for the Under-23s.
The following campaign saw Brewster move into the Under-23s ranks, where he featured 11 times in Premier League 2.
In addition to starring for the Liverpool Academy, the striker also featured as a youth international, representing England up to Under-21 level.

He represented his nation at the UEFA Under-17 European Championship and FIFA Under-17 World Cup competitions in 2017, scoring three goals at the former and striking eight times at the latter - winning the tournament's golden boot as he helped the Young Lions to lift the Under-17 World Cup crown.
In June 2018, Brewster signed professional terms with Liverpool, where he went on to earn winners’ medals as part of their 2018/19 UEFA Champions League and 2019 UEFA Super Cup successes.
He made four first-team appearances for the Premier League giants.

The 2019/20 campaign was Brewster’s first full season in senior football, as he went out on loan from the Reds to Swansea City in the Sky Bet Championship.
Brewster impressed in the second tier, scoring 11 goals in 22 appearances for the Swans, who reached the Play-Offs that season - but were denied a chance at promotion by Brentford over the two-legged Semi-Final.
But his performances with the Welsh side caught the eye of freshly-promoted Premier League side Sheffield United, who acquired his services for a reported fee of over £20 million ahead of the 2020/21 season.

Despite suffering relegation from the top-flight in his first season, he made 27 appearances at Premier League level.
He then made 14 outings in the Championship as the Blades narrowly missed out on the Play-Offs in 2021/22 and featured 16 times as they secured promotion back to the Premier League the following season.
He made a further 13 Premier League appearances as Sheffield United dropped back down to the Championship in the 2023/24 campaign.

Brewster featured 39 times in the second tier last season as the Blades finished third in a close-run race for automatic promotion and then fell to a 2-1 defeat in the Play-Off Final against Sunderland at Wembley Stadium back in May.
Following the expiry of his contract in the Steel City, Brewster signed up to join John Eustace’s new-look squad ahead of the 2025/26 season.
