Derby County defender Callum Elder has been nominated for the Sky Bet Championship Goal of the Month award for August 2025.
Elder scored a fine free kick in the first half of Derby’s 5-3 defeat against Coventry City at Pride Park Stadium.
It was the Australian’s first goal in Rams colours since joining the club in the summer of 2023.
Elder’s margin for error was tiny considering the combination of surprise, pace and accuracy needed to find the net from such a tight angle - and he executed it to perfection.
Derby supporters are invited to vote for Elder’s strike as their favourite goal here before 5pm on Monday 15th September.
The supporters' votes will be combined with the choices from a panel to determine the winners.
The judging panel comprises Sky Sports’ EFL experts Don Goodman and David Prutton.
