Following the start of the 2025/26 season, seven of Derby County’s summer signings have received their Legacy Numbers.

The Legacy Numbers were launched in October 2024, as a chronological list of every player to feature for the Men’s First Team throughout Derby’s long and storied history.
Head Coach John Eustace - who holds Legacy Number 956 - added 13 players to his squad this summer and each one to make their debut has now seen their number confirmed.
1196 Danny Batth
1197 Carlton Morris
1198 Dion Sanderson
1199 Bobby Clark
1200 Rhian Brewster
1201 Max Johnston
1202 Lewis Travis
Rhian Brewster’s debut against Bristol City made history, as he became the 1,200th player to play for the Rams in a competitive fixture.
Richard O’Donnell, Patrick Agyemang, Owen Beck and Ben Brereton Díaz will receive their Legacy Numbers when they make their Derby bow, while Andi Weimann (1053) and David Ozoh (1185) are already included on the list, as a result of their first spells with the club.
