Derby County have once again teamed up with Club Partner Eden Tyres & Servicing to provide brand-new kits for two local junior football clubs for the 2025/26 season.
The ‘Kit 4 Kids’ initiative began in 2019, with the opportunity provided to nominate a team between the ages of Under-7s to Under-12s in Derbyshire for the chance to secure a new strip for the upcoming season.
This year’s winners are Belper Town Juniors Under-8s Girls and Allenton United Lions Under-9s!
Belper Town Juniors were nominated by Team Coach Chris Williams, who helped to form the team in 2024.
With most members of the team not knowing each other, they built friendships during the 2024/25 season after joining from various local schools.
After spending last season using a second-hand kit, the squad were presented with their new strip at Pride Park Stadium by Derby County Women stars Yasmin Mason and Kate Oakley.
Allenton United Lions were nominated by Zoe Lee, the mother of Manager Kiedis Lee, who commits his time to coaching the team at just 18 years of age.
Kiedis has been with the group since they were Under-7s, he is currently studying Sport and Education at the University of Derby and with such a busy schedule, he had found it difficult to source sponsors and a new kit for the team.
Two members of Derby County’s Men’s First Team squad, Norway’s Sondre Langås and the United States’ Patrick Agyemang surprised the squad with their new kit for the 2025/26 campaign.
