INTERNATIONAL DIARY: Rams on duty - October 2025

The second break in the domestic match schedule of the 2025/26 season has arrived.

Derby County’s 1-1 draw with Southampton at Pride Park Stadium on Saturday was their final outing before the October international fixture period.

The Rams will return to action when they head to the Kassam Stadium for their Sky Bet Championship clash with Oxford United on Saturday 18th October (12:30pm kick-off).

In the meantime, eight Derby players from across the first-team and Academy will head out on duty with their respective nations.

Striker Patrick Agyemang has joined up with the US Men’s National Team for his first call-up of the new season, having missed out on the September break as he continued to recover from hernia surgery he underwent in the summer.

Since then, the American frontman netted his first goal for Derby in last weekend’s meeting with Southampton at Pride Park.

Midfielder Ebou Adams has once again joined up with The Gambia for their 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifying fixtures, while on-loan forward Ben Brereton Díaz links up with the Chile squad for their friendly against Peru.

Defender Max Johnston has also, as a late addition, been added to the Scotland squad for their 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifying fixtures at home to Greece and Belarus.

Meanwhile, Rams Under-21s midfielder Cruz Allen is linking up with Wales Under-19s. Midfielder Darren Robinson, currently out on loan with St. Patrick’s Athletic in Ireland, will join Northern Ireland’s Under-21s, and defender Daniel Cox, on loan at Walsall, will join up with the Welsh Under-21s side. In addition, Under-18s midfielder Sean Corry has been called up to the Northern Ireland Under-19 squad.
