Derby County’s Under-18s left it late to earn a 2-2 draw at Reading in the Premier League Cup.

The draw means Bradley Johnson’s side are now unbeaten in their last three matches in all competitions, following the 2-1 victory at Burnley and the 0-0 draw at home to Middlesbrough in the league towards the end of September.
After a 2-1 success at home to Burnley in their opening Group H encounter back in August, the Rams now have four points on the board in the group stages of the Premier League Cup.
Reading took the lead after 32 minutes courtesy of Larry Omoregie, but Derby hit back to equalise within four minutes through forward James Ward.
The home side restored their lead before the break thanks to Jubilee Netgee to go in at the break 2-1 to the good.
Derby remained in the tie, despite Reading pushing for a third goal, and midfielder Marley Mintus netted a dramatic late equaliser from the penalty spot to make it 2-2 and earn the Rams a point.
