Four players from Derby County’s Academy have received international call-ups for the November window.
Under-21s players Daniel Cox, Darren Robinson and Cruz Allen have all landed call-ups and the opportunity to once again test themselves on the international stage, as well as Under-18s defender Alfie Friars.

Centre-back Cox, who is on loan at Sky Bet League Two side Walsall, has been called up to the Wales Under-21 squad for their 2027 UEFA Under-21 European Championship qualifier away to Belarus Under-21s on Friday 14th November.

Midfielder Robinson, who is approaching the end of his loan spell at League of Ireland Premier Division outfit St Patrick’s Athletic, will once again line up with the Northern Ireland Under-21 squad. They have their 2027 UEFA Under-21 European Championship qualifiers at home to Latvia Under-21s on Friday 14th November and away to Greece on Tuesday 18th November.

Attacking midfielder Allen, who has been a regular for Derby’s Under-21s this term, will be part of the Wales Under-19 squad for their three friendly matches against their counterparts from Japan (Wednesday 12th November), USA (Saturday 15th November) and Germany (Tuesday 18th November).

Second year scholar Friars, who is currently spending time with Stockport County on a work experience basis after making three appearances for the Rams' Under-18s this term, has been named in the Northern Ireland Under-19 squad, who are competing in Group 13 of the qualifying round for the UEFA 2026 Under-19 European Championship qualifiers in Malta. They will take on Malta (12th November), Azerbaijan (15th November) and Czechia (18th November).
The four players have all been in previous squads, so the call-ups will present further opportunities to establish themselves in their respective squads.
