The club’s 2024/25 season was the third under the ownership of Clowes Developments (UK) Limited and concluded with the Men’s first team retaining their Sky Bet Championship status for the 2025/26 campaign, following promotion the previous year.
The financial report can be found by clicking here.
* The loss for the year was £11.3m compared to £14.2m on the previous reporting year.
* Revenue was £31.9m, up from £19.4m, driven largely by broadcast income of £12m, up from £2.9m in 2024.
* Ticketing, hospitality and sponsorship increased by 24 per cent to £18.3m with the average home attendance of 29,018 putting the Rams in the top four of the Championship.
* The accounts show around £12m was spent in the transfer market during the reporting term including Ebou Adams, Kenzo Goudjmin, Jacob Widell Zetterström, Sondre Langås, Lars-Jørgen Salvesen and Carlton Morris.
* Transfer money was received via sales and sell-on clauses from deals including Eiran Cashin, Liam Delap, Jayden Bogle, Morgan Whittaker and Jason Knight.
* Players that arrived and registered after 1st July will be detailed in next year’s accounts but total £10.9m.
* There is a net liability of £44.9m (£33.6m in 2024) largely in relation to owner funded cash injections for the day-to-day running of the club.
* The club has a healthy Profit and Sustainability position with headroom of £25.3m over the three-year period.
* However, in line with the financial plan put in place when Clowes Developments (UK) Limited purchased the club, Derby County will always live within its means and will not ever enter a period of ‘boom or bust’ which had such dramatic ramifications for the club in the recent past.
* Full accounts and the auditor’s report were shared and reviewed with the Supporters’ Board prior to their release.
