Rams Remember

Saturday’s match is Derby County’s first dedicated Rams Remember fixture of the 2025/26 season.

Rams Remember provides supporters with the chance to celebrate the lives of friends, family and fellow fans who have sadly passed away in recent years.

The names of those who we have sadly lost will appear across the RamsTV production ahead of kick-off.

Supporters are advised to be in their seats in good time if they wish to see the RamsTV video, which will be displayed on the Big Screen at Pride Park Stadium at 2:35pm.

Remembering Rod Thomas

Derby County was this week saddened to confirm the passing of its former player Rod Thomas.

Thomas had recently been unwell, and it is with great sadness that the club has learnt of his passing, on Saturday 15th November, at the age of 78.

Thomas, a defender who represented Wales at international level 50 times, was a member of Derby’s 1974/75 First Division title-winning side, and he attended a 50-year anniversary celebration of the achievement earlier this year.

The club will pay its respects at 2:40pm inside Pride Park Stadium and supporters are asked to join in remembering one of the club’s history-makers.

Thomas played 22 times in Derby’s league-title-winning season, while he was also a regular in the backline during the subsequent 1975/76 and 1976/77 seasons before departing for Cardiff City.

As well as being a First Division champion with Derby, Thomas also added a Charity Shield winner’s medal to his collection by playing the full 90 minutes as the Rams defeated West Ham United 2-0 at Wembley Stadium in August 1975.

In total, Thomas played 118 matches for Derby and scored twice, both coming in the 1976/77 season in an 8-2 home win over Tottenham Hotspur and a 1-1 away draw with Queens Park Rangers.

Activation with Derbyshire Constabulary for Operation Sceptre

Derby County is once again working with Derbyshire Constabulary to support Operation Sceptre.

Derbyshire Constabulary work all year-round to tackle knife crime, and this week that work has been in the spotlight as part of their Operation Sceptre campaign, run by the National Police Chief’s Council and runs twice a year and is a chance for teams to speak to local communities, start conversations about knife crime and show first-hand what they are doing to educate and keep weapons of the streets.

Over the course of this week, officers all over the county have been taking part in a range of operations and activity. This has included visiting schools and delivering inputs to both late-primary and secondary students, as well as hosting pop-up stalls in colleges across the county.

There have also been knife sweeps conducted, where officers scan parks and recreational spaces for weapons, sometimes with the help of a metal detectors.

On Saturday, Derbyshire Constabulary will have a temporary pop-up stall and vehicle set-up located outside the stadium ahead of kick-off and supporters can speak to them and find out more.

Derby County Megastore

The Derby County Megastore, located on the North-East Corner of Pride Park Stadium, will be open from 9am until 6pm to purchase all the latest Rams merchandise.

There is also a Matchday Store situated within Harrison’s Hub, which will be open from 1pm until kick-off.

Matchday Programme

Inside the programme, you can expect to find in-depth player interviews, opposition analysis, historical features and more.

If you submitted your predictions or photos on social media in the build-up to this game, you could see yourself on the big screen!

The answers to our pre-match quiz will also appear during the interval.

Parents/guardians can write their contact details, stand and seat number on the wristband, and then if their child was to become separated from them or felt unsafe, they could then approach a steward or Derby County member of staff and show their wristband.
