Derby County’s Ben Brereton Diaz has been called up to the Chile squad for their upcoming international fixtures later this month.

Attacker Brereton Díaz, who joined the Rams on a season-long loan deal from fellow Sky Bet Championship rivals Southampton at the end of the summer transfer window, will be looking to add to his 38 international caps.
The 26-year-old has scored eight times for his country, with the latest coming in a 2-1 friendly victory against Peru in October, with the Rams’ loanee scoring the equaliser at the Estadio Bicentenario de La Florida.
Chile will face Russia (15th November) and Peru (18th November) in international friendlies during the latest window, with both matches taking place at the Fisht Olympic Stadium in Russia.
Brereton Díaz has made eight appearances to date in a Derby shirt and scored his first goal in Rams colours in the 1-1 draw at Wrexham back in September.
