The third international break of the 2025/26 season is now upon us.

Derby County have entered the November international period in excellent form, having won their last five matches in the Sky Bet Championship.
The Rams will return to action following the two-week gap between competitive fixtures when they host Watford at Pride Park Stadium on Saturday 22nd November (3pm kick-off).
In the meantime, a number of players from across the first-team and Academy are now heading away on duty with their respective nations.
Goalkeeper Jacob Widell Zetterström has been called up by Sweden, centre-back Sondre Langås has been recalled by Norway after recovering from knee surgery, full-back Callum Elder has been selected by Australia, Ben Brereton Díaz will continue to have the chance to catch the eye with Chile and midfielder Ebou Adams will once again join up with The Gambia's squad when their camp begins on Saturday 15th November.
Players from the Rams’ Academy have also received call-ups with out on loan pair Daniel Cox and Darren Robinson away with Wales Under-21s and Northern Ireland Under-21s respectively, as well as Cruz Allen with Wales Under-19s and Alfie Friars with Northern Ireland Under-19s.
In addition, on Thursday 13th November, Academy goalkeeper Jack Thompson was called up to the England Under-20 squad.
Wednesday 12th November - Malta U19 vs Northern Ireland U19 (UEFA 2026 Under-19 European Championship Qualifying Round) 10am
Under-18s defender Alfie Friars will be looking to feature for Gareth McAuley’s Northern Ireland Under-19s in their opening UEFA 2026 Under-19 European Championship Qualifying Round clash against Malta Under-19s at the Centenary Stadium complex in Ta’Qali in central Malta.
Wednesday 12th November - Wales U19 vs Japan U19 (International friendly) 7pm
Under-21s midfielder Cruz Allen will be looking to feature Wales’ Under-19s in their opening match of a three-team tournament during the international window, starting with a showdown against Japan Under-19s at Central Park, Denbigh.

Thursday 13th November - Norway vs Estonia (2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifier) 5pm
Sondre Langås and his Norway team-mates know that a win over Estonia in Oslo could assure them of qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. It will also present a chance for Langås to add to his two international caps.
Thursday 14th November - Northern Ireland U21 vs Latvia U21 (2027 UEFA U21 European Championship Qualifier) 7:45pm
Midfielder Darren Robinson, who has spent the first half of the 2025/26 season on loan at League of Ireland Premier Division side St Patrick's Athletic, will be looking to gain more match time for Tommy Wright’s side in their latest 2027 UEFA Under-21 European Championship Group F qualifier against Latvia Under-21s at The BetMcLean Oval.
Friday 14th November - Belarus U21 vs Wales U21 (2027 UEFA U21 European Championship Qualifier) 2pm
Defender Daniel Cox, who is on loan at Sky Bet League Two side Walsall, will look to add to his Wales Under-21s caps total when Matty Jones’ side face Belarus Under-21s in Group I at Tengiz Burjanadze Stadium in Gori, Georgia. After their 2-0 win over Austria Under-21s in October, Wales have responded well to heavy home defeats to their Denmark and Belgium counterparts.
Friday 14th November - England U20 vs Japan U20 (International friendly) 7:30pm
Under-21s goalkeeper Jack Thompson was a late call-up to the England Under-20 squad for their single friendly fixture during the November international window. England will face Japan at Doncaster Rovers’ Eco-Power Stadium and Thompson, previously called to to the Young Lions' Under-18 group, will be looking to make the most of the opportunity to impress.

Saturday 15th November - Venezuela vs Australia (International friendly) 2:30am
Australia, who have already qualified for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, are in America for two friendlies this month and will take on Venezuela as part of their preparations at the Shell Energy Stadium in Houston, with Callum Elder looking to add to his single international cap for the Socceroos.
Saturday 15th November - Azerbaijan U19 vs Northern Ireland U19 (UEFA 2026 Under-19 European Championship Qualifying Round) 1:30pm
Under-18s centre-back Alfie Friars will once again aiming to be involved for Northern Ireland’s Under-19s as they face Azerbaijan Under-19s in their second UEFA 2026 Under-19 European Championship Qualifying Round match at the Centenary Stadium complex in Ta’Qali.
Saturday 15th November - Wales U19 vs USA U19 (International friendly) 2:30pm
Wales’ Under-19s will take on USA’s Under-19s at Wrexham’s STōK Cae Ras in their second of three matches during the international period, with Under-21s midfielder Cruz Allen once again eyeing the opportunity to impress for Craig Knight’s side.

Saturday 15th November - Russia vs Chile (International friendly) 3pm
Chile, who haven’t qualified for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, are in Russia for two friendlies this month and Rams loanee Ben Brereton Díaz will be looking to build on his goal against Peru in October at the Fisht Olympic Stadium in Sochi.
Saturday 15th November - Switzerland vs Sweden (2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifier) 7:45pm
Rams goalkeeper Jacob Widell Zetterström is back in the Sweden squad, Graham Potter’s first as the national team coach, and they need nothing but a win to keep their faint hopes of 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification alive at Stade de Genève in Geneva.
Sunday 16th November - Italy vs Norway (2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifier) 7:45pm
By the time Norway step out at the famous San Siro in Milan, they will have hoped to have pipped their opponents to qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup and it could be an opportunity for Sondre Langås to get a run-out on the international stage once more.
Tuesday 18th November - Czechia U19 vs Northern Ireland U19 (UEFA 2026 Under-19 European Championship Qualifying Round) 10am
Northern Ireland Under-19s will round off their UEFA 2026 Under-19 European Championship Qualifying Round set of matches at the Centenary Stadium complex in Ta’Qali against Czechia Under-19s and second year scholar Alfie Friars will be looking to get more match minutes under his belt.

Tuesday 18th November - Wales U19 vs Germany U19 (International friendly) 11am
Wales’ Under-19s round off their three-team tournament on home turf with a clash against Germany’s Under-19s at Central Park, Denbigh. The match will present another opportunity for Rams youngster Cruz Allen to impress for his country.
Tuesday 18th November - Greece U21 vs Northern Ireland U21 (2027 UEFA U21 European Championship Qualifier) 2pm
Northern Ireland Under-21s’ latest 2027 UEFA Under-21 European Championship Group F qualifier will see them take on their Greek counterparts away from home with Rams Under-21s’ midfielder Darren Robinson once again in line to feature at the Municipal Stadium.

Tuesday 18th November - Kuwait vs The Gambia (International friendly) 4pm
Ebou Adams has been a regular on the international stage of The Gambia in recent seasons and the midfielder will be looking to further establish himself in the Scorpion’s side when they take on Kuwait in a friendly work-out at the Cairo International Stadium in Egypt.
Tuesday 18th November - Chile vs Peru (International friendly) 5pm
A South American showdown in Russia is on the cards at the Fisht Olympic Stadium and Ben Brereton Díaz will be hoping for a repeat of a goal and win for Chile in their latest friendly clash after they ran out 2-1 winners against the same opponents last month.

Tuesday 18th November - Sweden vs Slovenia (2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifier) 7:45pm
Sweden’s meeting with Slovenia at Nationalarenan in Stockholm could, potentially, carry little on it for the hosts when it comes to qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, but it could be a chance for Rams goalkeeper Jacob Widell Zetterström to impress Graham Potter.
Wednesday 19th November - Columbia vs Australia (International friendly) 1am
Callum Elder could get another chance to stake his claim for a place in Australia’s 2026 FIFA World Cup squad when the Socceroos face Columbia at Citi Field in New York City in their second friendly of the month.
