A youthful Derby County B Team went down 6-2 at Stockport County in the Central League on Wednesday afternoon.

The Derby side was largely made up of players from the Under-18s squad, while a handful of schoolboys were also part of the matchday squad against the Hatters.
The home side took the lead inside the opening five minutes before going on to add two more quickfire goals ahead of the half-time break to go in 3-0 up at the interval.
Derby pulled a goal back straight after half-time through James Ward, but two more goals before the hour mark and one more 15 minutes from time strengthened Stockport’s grip on proceedings.
The Rams pulled a goal back in the final minute courtesy of Kieran Clarke to round off the scoring on a difficult afternoon.
Derby County B: Dzialuk (GK), Thomas, Stokes, Connor, Taylor, K Gill, Blake, Griffiths, Green, Clarke, Ward.
