Derby County Under-21s defender Daniel Cox has joined Enterprise National League side Wealdstone on a month-long loan deal.
The 19-year-old recently returned from a loan spell with Sky Bet League Two outfit Walsall – where he made seven appearances across EFL competitions – and will head straight to the Stones as he continues to gain vital experience at first team level.
Cox, a Wales Under-21 international, will be in line for his debut on Saturday afternoon when Wealdstone face Dagenham & Redbridge in the Fourth Round Proper of the Isuzu FA Trophy at Grosvenor Vale.
His stint with the Stones will also cover National League matches at home to Woking, Tamworth and Morecambe, as well as the trip to Gateshead.
